Terms of sale
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Purpose
These general terms of sale govern the sale of meals offered on latablebantu.com by Ms Blandine Simon BENGUI, founder of La Table Bantu (single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company, SASU, being incorporated) ("La Table Bantu") to consumers ("the Customer"). Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.
2. Plans
La Table Bantu offers healthy, ready-to-reheat cooked dishes delivered every week under the following plans (prices including VAT, delivery included in served areas):
- AKWABA plan: 4 dishes per week, €44.90.
- NZA plan: 6 dishes per week, €59.90.
- KABA plan: 10 dishes per week, €89.90.
- EDING plan: 2 adults, 3 meals per week, i.e. 6 portions, €59.90.
- TERANGA plan: 2 adults and 2 to 3 children, 4 full dinners per week over 5 days, i.e. 15 portions, €119.90.
3. Subscription with no commitment
Ordering a plan creates a weekly subscription with no minimum term. From their account, the Customer can change dishes, switch plans, skip a week, pause or cancel at any time, subject to the deadline in article 4.
4. Orders, changes and deadline
Dishes are chosen from the published weekly menu. A week's box can be changed or cancelled until Thursday 11:59 pm (Paris time) before delivery. After this deadline the order goes into production and can no longer be changed, cancelled or refunded.
A reminder email is sent on Thursday so the Customer can check their dishes.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros including all taxes. Payment is made by card through a secure payment provider; La Table Bantu does not store any card data. For a subscription, each weekly box is charged when it is generated, before the change deadline.
If the plan is changed after the week's box has been paid, the new price applies from the following weeks.
6. Promo codes, loyalty and referral
- Promo codes (for example BANTULUNCH) apply under the conditions shown (value, validity period, number of uses) and cannot be combined with each other.
- Loyalty programme: each paid order earns 5 points. From 25 points, the Customer can use a 15% discount on one box; from 50 points, one free meal. Points used are deducted from the balance. The loyalty discount cannot be combined with a promo code (the better offer applies); the free meal can be combined. If an order is cancelled, points used are credited back and points earned are removed. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- Referral: the referred customer gets a discount on their first box and the referrer receives a credit for future orders, in the amounts shown in the account.
7. Home delivery
Refrigerated delivery is available in the served areas of Île-de-France, shown when entering the postcode, on Mondays within the chosen time slot. The Customer must provide an accurate address and access instructions. If the Customer is absent, the box may be left according to their instructions, brought back or rescheduled; an absence attributable to the Customer does not give rise to a refund.
8. Pickup at a Bantu relay point
The Customer may choose to collect their box from a partner relay point. A 6-digit pickup code is provided and requested at pickup. The box must be collected within 48 hours of its arrival at the relay point; after that the cold chain can no longer be guaranteed and the box is not refunded.
9. Storage and allergens
Dishes are delivered chilled and must be kept between 0 and 4 °C upon receipt, then eaten before the use-by date on the label. The Customer should check the allergen list of each dish, available on its page and label, and record their allergies in their account.
10. Right of withdrawal
Under article L.221-28, 4° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of food liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. The Customer may still change or cancel their box until the deadline in article 4.
11. Complaints
Any issue (incomplete box, damaged parcel, cold chain break, delay) must be reported within 48 hours of delivery from the account ("Report a problem"), ideally with a photo, or by email to contact@latablebantu.com. After review, La Table Bantu may offer a goodwill gesture (credit, free dish or refund).
12. Liability
La Table Bantu is responsible for the proper performance of the order. It cannot be held liable if the Customer does not follow the storage instructions, provides incorrect information, or in case of force majeure.
13. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, linked in the website footer.
14. Mediation and governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the Customer first sends a written complaint to La Table Bantu. If no amicable solution is found, they may contact the consumer mediator MEDICYS, 73 boulevard de Clichy, 75009 Paris, France, www.medicys.fr, free of charge. Otherwise, the French courts have jurisdiction.
